Three little words that you will probably read over and over and over again in the blog. It's the point of the blog, but more importantly, the point of our lives. "Go to the poor; you will find God," says St. Vincent de Paul. I believe him.
So Alex and I are going on a mission trip this summer. Interestingly enough, separately God has called us to the same exact place this summer: Kolkata, India (formerly known as Calcutta). You can read about how God called us each to Kolkata here and here, but the point is, we're going.
But this trip isn't about Alex or me - it's about building up the Body of Christ, building up a world of peace and hope and love, being transformed by the reality of pain and the service of healing. The goal is to get through it to become better people - better lovers of each other.
The last thing I'll add is that you can be involved in this ministry. We need your prayer. Pray for the Others that we will meet, pray that we'll bring love to people emptied of hope and pray that God will provide all we need to do His will.
